Terms of use
Last updated 9 October 2026
By using Maplia you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What Maplia is
Maplia helps you plan trips with an interactive map and plans written by AI from open data. It is a planning aid, not a travel agent: we do not sell travel, and we do not take bookings or payments.
Plans written by AI
Plans and place descriptions are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain mistakes. Opening hours, prices, closures, road and weather conditions, and access rules change. Check them with the official sources before you travel and use your own judgement, especially in the outdoors. Maplia is not responsible for decisions you make based on a plan.
The map
The 3D map is an illustration built from open data and generated models. Distances, travel times and heights are estimates. Do not use it for navigation or safety decisions.
Place names and borders come from open data such as OpenStreetMap. They do not express any opinion of Maplia on the legal status of any country, territory or city, or on any boundary.
Fair use
Use Maplia for your own trips. Do not scrape it, overload it, get around its limits, or try to copy its models, textures or data out of the site. We may limit or block use that harms the service or other users.
Content and licences
Maplia's design, code, texts and generated models belong to Maplia. Map data and photos come from open sources under their own licences, listed on the credits page. Your own notes stay yours; you let us use them only to make your plan.
Third-party sites
Links to other sites (official park pages, hotels, booking sites) are for your convenience. Their content and terms are their own.
No warranty and liability
Maplia is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Maplia is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the place where Maplia is operated, without taking away protections the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
Problems and complaints
If something on Maplia is wrong, or you believe it uses your rights, please write to us first: mapliasupport@gmail.com. The contact page says what to include. We look into every message, fix what is wrong, and take down content while a rights notice is checked.
